HARARE’s party people have always had a knack for new things.

This is why some music lovers hop from one club to the next just to have a feel of everything.

However, Pablo’z deck has become “the place” for many discerning revellers.

The joint located at the Borrowdale’s Sam Levy’s Village has become the hub or rather a hot spot for the mature, trendy and well heeled.

It has been many months since it opened doors but the place is only becoming popular now more than ever before.

Guests who are over 25 years visit the joint to wind down after busy schedules.

There are people that always want to spend big and show-off that at least they are not wallowing in poverty even though it might turn out to be different thing come the next day.

Last weekend, The Herald passed through the place to find out why everything is happening at the club.

There were hostesses busy at work and they are strict on dress code and they do not mind turning people away for inappropriate dressing.

For gentlemen its strictly smart casual while the ladies are encouraged to dress to the nines.

One thing that makes you stop and think is the cool ambience. Despite the showers at the weekend it was warm inside due to well maintained air conditioners.

And the DJ Kaycee The Gigmaster just knows how to move the crowd.

He was playing mostly old skool music for the mature and the not-so-young.

From “Roses Are Red” to “I’m Every Woman” and “Cool And the Gang” the music kept coming.

“This is the most happening join in town,” said a lady only identified as Rose.

Another reveller said he liked to party at Pablo’z since there were no teen boppers.

“My friend I wouldn’t like to go to a club where I know I might bump into my daughter or son,” he said.

Lyndon Kapuyira, a publicist said the club had the right formula for those who want to have fun.

“We do not take things for granted this is why we made sure we put couches in the bar and the VIP section.

The other thing we want revellers to spend their cash without any hindrance,” he said.
