*** The Meteorolog­ical Services Department has been doing a good job in advising the general populace on the heavy rains and the risks of flooding in some areas. — Edgar Chabata, Bindura.

*** Harare City Council has to do something about the state of hygiene in the city. They cannot blame vendors when they have the mandate to keep the city clean. In some areas, garbage has not been collected since December. This is contributi­ng to the outbreak of diseases. — Andrew Choto, Harare.
