Joice Mujuru is a bully
EDITOR — Joice Mujuru and her team are creating the worst political circus this country has ever seen.
When Mai Mujuru decided in her interim capacity to fire people from ZimPF. All provinces and branches released generic statements endorsing that decision.
The diction in all those statements had weak variations likely to be from the same source or author.
This shows how the people in that party are being led by an iron fist and are unable to think independently. Mujuru is a bully who wants everything done her way.
There are reports that moves are already being made to replace the ousted members.
If it is true, this sells away a pre-conceived idea which was being nurtured by Mujuru as she gave fake smiles to the likes of Didymus Mutasa and Rugare Gumbo.
To add to the drama, other senior party members have also jumped ship.
This leaves Mujuru alone with broke young political opportunists who are willing to jump at her every request, since she has the money.
I wonder if the electorate will vote for such a structureless party run like a tuck- shop.
My advice to Mujuru is that she should retire.
This will save her further embarrassment of failure on the local political scene.
This latest split, however, is an opportunity for the lost cadres to humble themselves and ask for forgiveness.
Zanu-PF is the people`s party, the likes of Kudakwashe Bhasikiti and company should know that.
It is not too late to return to the revolutionary way of doing things.
They can become card-carrying members and aid in properly building the country.
Even the Bible has cases of the Prodigal Son who returned; we will welcome them with open arms if they do come back.
Or alternatively they can sit a safe distance from politics because there is no political life outside Zanu-PF.
The quicker everyone understands that, the better. There is only one decent political organisation in the country, Zanu-PF. Variso Dhliwayo, Rusape.
