THE “pull him down” syndrome being exhibited by some senior members in Team ZANU-PF cannot just go unchallenged. How can a true cadre apply crude tackles on the Government’s Command Agriculture programme, itself a true sanctions buster? I don’t believe that these players deserve a jersey in our team. Team ZANU-PF must not entertain these Bhora Musango players who are cunningly destroying our party from within anymore. — Cde Blah Max Boomerang, Harare.

It’s a pity that rains have washed away a number of bridges. However, a shadow of doubt has been cast on the strength of the structures that survived the incessant rains. It is against such a background that I appeal to the authorities to carry out an assessment programme of bridges that survived the onslaught. There are possibilities of the bridges succumbing long after the rainy season has ended. — Lawrence Moyo, Hwange.

Renovations to the Nambya Museum is failing to kick off several years after the project was put on paper. The relevant ministry has cited lack of fiscal space as the reason for the delay to renovating the building. I am now appealing to the business community and organisations to assist in this important project. Hwange, like other urban centres, needs a vibrant museum. — Lawrence Moyo, Hwange.

Now that the rains have subsided we hope and appeal that Government turn attention to repairing roads across the country. This job is, however, not for Government alone as other sectors can do their part. We need to work with urgency. — Jane Chidoro, Harare.

Congratulations to Makepekepe and all stakeholders at the team. You silenced the DRC’s mighty TP Mazembe. Zimbabwe is proud of you. It’s important to beef up the squad as they prepare to navigate their way in their African adventure. Players must remain disciplined as this is also an opportunity to market themselves. — Nkomo Timothy, Murehwa.
