It is also high time that citizens engage in wildlife conservation practices to deter poaching activities as well as creating a conducive environment for the flourishing of wildlife. These concerns also come in the wake of rampant poaching activities last year that left hundreds of elephants killed. Let us join hands and stop this kind of cruelty to animals. — Leonard Moyo, Hwange.
*** We hear some enterprising commercial sex workers are now crossing borders to neighbouring countries looking for greener pastures or “greener” wallets. The advent of plastic money transactions has not helped the situation as most of their local clients are not happy leaving ‘foot footprints’ on the e-trail after paying through point of sale.
The favoured destinations are Zambia and South Africa where men are said to be very generous when paying for services rendered. However, a word of advice to our dear sisters, before embarking on the treacherous sojourns, know that home is best. Why not start market gardening, buying and selling, cross border trading and doing short courses? Beware of human traffickers dealing in human parts and sex slavery.
