Regime change agents deserting each other

EDITOR — A recent interview between Women of Zimbabwe Arise (WOZA) leader Jennie Williams and a private daily reporter depicts that the former has seen the light and lost interest in directionless politics of opposition parties in the country.

In the interview, Williams lambasted the Women Electoral Convergence which is led by MDC-T’s deputy president Thokozani Khupe, National People Party’s leader Joice Mujuru and MDC’s Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga, claiming that these women are more interested in positions than representing issues that serve the interests of women.

Most MDC-T’s top allies have since lost faith in that opposition party.

MDC-T has been challenging the revolutionary party since 2000, but they have proved that they are not able to represent the interests of the people through their poor perpetual election outcome.

Usually, when people go to the ballot box to cast their votes, they don’t just vote for the purpose of voting, but they do it after serious considerations. The electorate vote for a political party which has policies that cater for their needs.

Now that funders are avoiding Tsvangirai because of his consecutive electoral defeats, Williams appears to have seen the light.

Most people are quite aware that the bond that previously tied Williams and MDC-T was nothing other than donor funds.

In other words, Williams and Tsvangirai are fighting from the same corner as demonic regime change agents.

This is why the opposition coalition isn’t working because they all want total control of donor funding.
