Response to “Gen Chiwenga reads riot act”

VP Mnangagwa implemented the Command Agriculture project and followed it up to the extent that the Lord opened up the sky. What other signs do we need as Zimbabweans? — Bright Ndlovu.

What was the rationale, once again, of the white elephant of Dema that masquerades as a diesel fired electricity generation plant and Sir Wicknell’s solar unit: to milk ZESA and the nation? The gap of nearly US$200 million between the contractor’s fee inclusive of engineering and procurement, and the total cost attributed to financing costs is exceptionally high as to warrant an external forensic audit. Hopefully the Auditor-General will be on spot before the trail runs cold. — Thomas Murisa, Harare.

In his bid to outfox other anti-government activists this pastor-cum-puppet Evan Mawarire is now preaching violence. Is he now a medical student at the UZ? In fact, he reminds me of Bishop Abel Muzorewa, the biggest sell-out of all time. — Cde Bla Max Boomerang, Harare.

Response to “Civil servants entitled to political parties”

Mr Charamba is correct. Civil servants are citizens first and they have the same rights that all citizens have. The only thing is for them to be impartial and not prejudice others who do not support their line of thinking. — Admire Taruvinga.

At this stage it’s no longer about partisan politics, the mandate of General Chiwenga is to protect the country from threats both domestic or foreign. This whole charade is now really a major security and economic risk, and the person stocking the fires publicly is Jonathan Moyo. Whether justified or not, Moyo and Kasukuwere are taking their fights to the public thereby risking internal security and investor confidence. — Tongo.

Response to “CAPS transfer-list Dauda”

Dauda’s body language during the Yadah match said it all. He was smiling after conceding a goal! He’s the only player who does not look concerned. He can leave immediately. — Shutto.

Response to “No to urban tollgates — Manyenyeni”

Fuel levies would have been okay if there was a guarantee that the fuel bought will be used only in Harare. What if someone wants to fill their tank so they can travel to Bulawayo? It would be unfair for City of Harare to benefit yet the fuel will be used in Chegutu, Kadoma, Gwere, Kwekwe and Bulawayo. E-tolls are the best, you pay according to your travel in a known area. — Ziso.
