GOSPEL artiste Sebastian Magacha is expected at the second album launch of Gweru-based musician Robson Vunganai tomorrow.

Other musicians expected to perform are Andy Muridzo, Nyasha Mutonhori, Mai Patai, Jazz jazz, Sam Dondo, Edith weUtonga and Travellers Band.

Vunganai’s latest offering “Ndezva Mwari” contains eight tracks — the title track “Ndezva Mwari”, “Rudo”, “Terera”, “Mihla”, “Mukana”, “Misi yose”, “Kure naMwari” and “Nditungamire”.

One of the organisers of the event Sydney Shumba, said they were happy with the preparations.

“I am happy that everything is going well in terms of preparations and I can safely say that the preparations are at an advanced stage,” he said.

Vunganai expressed optimism that everything will go according to plan.

“We have been working hard to ensure that the album launch becomes a success. I am grateful for all the support that I have been receiving from both the organising committee and fellow musicians,” he said.

Vunganai’s music is social commentary, which has proved to be popular with gospel fans.

It remains to be seen whether he struck the right chords on this new album.

He made his debut with “Tisvikewo”, which immediately raised his profile.
