I am saddened by the violence that erupted today in Harare. No one deserves to die for political expediency. I am calling @BitiTendai to order for inciting violence. We should all concede defeat in a peaceful manner not to manipulate innocent suffering citizens.#ZimbabweElections. — @lilomatic.

The problem is that we don’t want to learn from our past and current mistakes. Let’s accept defeat, take some lessons and become better. We can’t just accuse without evidence, it doesn’t hold in a court of law. — @dudumo.

Nelson Chamisa of MDC must be held accountable for inflammatory and reckless statements which has now led to eruption of violent protests in Harare. What started as peaceful elections in Zimbabwe history. He irresponsibly declared himself a “winner”. #ZimDecides2018. — @zizikodwa.

*** I bet @nelsonchamisa and @BitiTendai would never send their children where they sent yours today. They send other people’s children where they won’t send theirs. Why? Why didn’t I see them on the road too? And you call it a party of excellence? — @acielumumba.

*** I’m uncomfortable with people who talk of democracy, but refuse to accept that other people CAN vote for ZANU-PF. As much as that choice is irrational to you, it’s still their choice. One that the constitution guarantees them. One that we must all respect. — @KomradeQuestion.

*** Men tweeting from comfy hotels and abroad encouraging young people to die is insane. Very disappointed that my city is burning . . . Again. Over something that can be dealt with in less than 1hr. We need V11 forms from all agents. NOW. — @begottensun.
