Know Jesus to follow him

JOHN 1:1-3; 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

John 1:14; 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jesus Christ is part of the trinity of God and he is God the Son.

The Christian doctrine of the Trinity Latin: holds that God is one God, but three co-eternal con-substantial persons where there is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit — as “one God in three Divine Persons”.

Jesus is the word who became flesh through a virgin birth. He is the word that was spoken in Genesis to bring out creation.

Beginning is the point in time or space at which something starts. At the start before creation the word who is Christ was there. Hence he is the starting point. It starts with Christ.

Starting point of following him is getting back to basics.

Know him by reading the word of God. The word of God is Christ. Nothing is made outside him. It starts with Christ. Do you read the word? If not start today and get to know him, then follow him.
