Response to “No room for complacency . . . Let’s fulfil election promises, says President”

*** Response to “ED to release Motlanthe report next week”

We hope those who instigated their supporters in the MDC-Alliance to be violent will take lessons and avoid such political practises in future. — Cde Samanyanga, Dotito.

*** Response to “Banking sector posts 77pc profit jump”

How can banks report huge profits while on the ground there is nothing to show for it?

Firstly, Zimbabwean banks do not give loans to the public or business sector or the farming sector.

Most commodities are bought through cash transactions.

I am not aware of individuals who are satisfied by these banks at all.

Banks charge exorbitant fees which are contributing to these profits, but that’s not a win-win situation.

Lastly, on talk about the currency crisis in the country, who contributed to that? — James Chikomero.

IS FOR our teams to aim for group stages what Zimbabwe soccer is all about?

I hear someone saying CAPS United was successful the last time they participated in this competition.

Does beating TP Mazembe constitute success?

What then would losing to a Libyan team that hardly plays league soccer in its country with a goal margin of 4-1 home and away mean?

It’s time we accept what we are. Our clubs are useless when compared to continental giants and coaches must learn to shut up if they do not have anything to say. www.herald.co.zw

*** The revolutionary ruling party will continue to receive our patriotic support.

We will continue to expose the disappointment of the defeated leader of the opposition, Nelson Chamisa, a chronic disappointment that stems from his frustrations at his inability to defeat the revolutionary party. — Takunda Nigel.

*** Response to “Big boost for devolution. . . as ZANU-PF mulls changes to Constitution” Devolution is the way to go. There is need to decentralise operations from central Government to speed up development in other provinces.
