Response to “Timeous pay
ment of farmers vital”
It is true. In such a way, farmers can be able to buy their agricultural inputs timely and prepare for the next agricultural season. This will also avoid the possibility of side marketing as farmers will supply directly to the GMB. It will motivate the farmers to produce more, resulting in high productivity in the agricultural sector. — @Wellington Husiku.

Response to “Pfumvudza goes a gear up with Phase 2” The Pfumvudza/ Intwasa programme introduced by the Government has become an essential tool as it contributed immensely to the turning point in our agriculture sector. The phase 2 scheme will definitely increase household and national food security through the farm mechanisation drive. Our agricultural sector will never go wrong. Soon the country will retain its SADC bread basket status. Farmers need to utilise the Pvumvudza scheme wisely. — Taurai Manhope.

Response to “India, AfDB donate 20 ambulances” Thank you to the Indian government and the African Development Bank for the donations. The ambulances will help in responding to emergencies and disasters such as maternal, and road traffic accidents. They will also lead to the reduction of mortality rates in the country. It is high time that other parastatals and private sector chip in and plough back to the community. — Rutendo. ***
Response to “Water projects help villagers pick up life after cyclone’’
The water projects have come at a good time as they will help the people in the restoration of their livelihoods. Cyclone Idai had devastating effects on the people especially in the eastern parts of the country as it had massive destruction of infrastructure. The people will now have access to clean drinking water and they can now engage in income generating projects through the irrigation schemes. — Robert.

Response to “93 drug ped
dlers arrested” Commendable job by the Zimbabwe Republic Police. The police should keep on arresting peddlers. The drug abuse awareness campaigns being done are important as they are trying to save the people from the devastating effects of the drugs. There is need for disruption of the supply chains and criminal networks who import and supply these drugs. Drugs are very dangerous and they are destroying lives and health of many people, especially youths. — Chiedza Moyo.
