Responses to “Homeless Mbire widow appeals for help”
The plight of 95-year old Kwedza Karombo really touched me. Let us help the elderly in our community. They are knowledgeable in our ways of living. Let us all put our hands together and help her build her house. — Tafadzwa
Thanks to ZANU PF provincial youth secretary for labour and social welfare Cde Brian Jonga for pledging to assist with cement whilst the province will raise funds to assist her.— Teclah Moyo

I urge cement manufacturing companies, hardware stores, those who sell bricks and builders to come to the aid of Gogo Karombo. If everyone pools resources, she can have a decent home. — Claudious Mano

Responses to “Village heads warned against selling
peri-urban land”
It is indeed sad that some elderly people have become victims of circumstances, falling prey to greedy relatives who connive with village heads to parcel out land without their knowledge.
All home seekers should follow regulations and not just build everywhere. Home seekers will lose out if their properties are demolished.
The village heads and greedy relatives will have pocketed money from illegal land sales. This should stop.— Vincent Gomo
It indeed is sad that some innocent old aged people are just being duped by their relatives that are just allocating portions of their land to potential buyers without their knowledge and leaving them with virtually nothing.
Let’s put an end to this. — Citizen
