Responses to“Maintain drains or deal with floods”

EDITORIAL COMMENT:

The issue of drainage needs urgent attention. Bad drainage affects roads and water run off. Will the “big bosses” at various councils take heed, or will they push to get their new cars and Christmas bonuses for doing absolutely nothing? The cities are in a bad state of repair, starting with Harare. - @ ViX.

Response to “Climate funds must be availed to all: Minister Ndlovu”

This issue is already politicised. South Africa is getting US$ 40 billion, while other countries in the region are receiving something albeit lesser amounts to decommission environmentally unsustainable plants; all countries including Zimbabwe should benefit! - @ Mura Costa Tarabuku.

Response to “President donates farming equipment, bus to Solusi”

Great to see donations going to Solusi. I did part-time lecturing over 20 years ago and am glad to report that it really shapes men and women. Rules there may appear hard, but I meet young men and women who are grateful they went through that university. - @ Colonel Moyo.

Response to “Communities upbeat over information centres”

This is an important step that has to be taken. There is need for internet services so that students can be able to research and that could help improve the pass rate. - @ Miriam Gokwe.
