Responses to “Overwhelming number of uncollected passports a concern”

People must collect their passports from the Department of Civil Registry. Uncollected passports due to the efficiency of the e-passport system should not add to storage costs. — @Lindiwe

In the past, members of the public used to complain a lot about the slow issuance of passports, resulting in individuals spending long hours in queues to be served. Why are people not collecting their passports now? — @SimbaBK

Congratulations to the Second Republic for establishing such a super efficient system for the production of passports. Zimbabwe now has a modern system and its helping our country to keep pace with the dynamics and ever- changing technological environment. — @SelbyHT

The chief executive offi cer Mr Jemitias Mandinyenya must tell us if the district council there has fire engines to put out fires. He should be telling us more about prevention than treating symptoms. — Wonder Chengeto

Fire prevention should be a top priority at the Shamva offices. Fire can cause damage and losses running into thousands of dollars. Safety first. — Ngwarai

War is bad. War is deadly. Its not a joke. I am so excited about the arrival of our people from Sudan. The people could have been killed by now. Thanks to the Government and the Embassy of Zimbabwe in Sudan for facilitating the evacuation from the war torn North African country.

About 42 of our people are here and we pray for the best for the remaining 21 people who are still to come. Thank you God. — Faith&Hope

Zimbabweans are hard working people. They are found almost everywhere on earth. We thank the Government for its swift response.
