UNITED Kingdom-based Zimbabwean gospel songstress Eleana Makombe (pictured) has upped the game with a plan to end the year in style with a show in Britain.

Yes, a lot of positive things have been happening to her music career but the biggest of them all is to close the year with a band in the United Kingdom in December.

The show features South African giant Benjamin Dube, Minister Micheal Mahendere, The Cherayi’s, Gospel Dj, and Nigel Slick Pastor.

Already social media is awash with comments, anticipating much on the show after Eleana announced the latest development.

The show will take place at Kings House Bedford.

In an interview with The Herald, Eleana who confirmed will be in Zimbabwe next week for a rehearsal with Minister Mahendere, said preparations were at an advanced stage.

Dubbed, “Grateful” concert, the event will run under the theme, from ‘Psalm 100 v 4’— “Enter, into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”

“The plans are progressing very well and we are finalising most of the arrangements,” she said.

“Most of the artistes have secured their travel visas and we thank God for this. I will be in Zimbabwe for a two-week rehearsal retreat. I will have e rehearsal with Minister Michael Mahendere and Ellard and Sharon Cherayi.”

She said by God’s grace, the plans for collaborations with all performing at the show will be revealed in due course.

“Once finalised all details will be made public. Confirmed performers are the legendary Reverend Benjamin Dude and he will be accompanied by his band, Minister Michael Mahendere, Power couple Sharon and Ellard Cherayi.”

Eleana said they romped the services of Nigel Slick Pastor because of his background in gospel music and comedy satire.

“We have noticed a lot of more music ministers arriving in Zimbabwe from as far as USA and many other nations to come and minister to the people, but why not change the game. Remember it’s all about Jesus.”

“There is a surprise on the show and I am so excited for a young minister who is going to be the opening act on the night.”

“We also have a high-powered delegation of apostles and bishops expected to attend the show. We will be surrounded by a cloud of witnesses,” she explained.

Eleana who has a powerful song with Dorcas Moyo, “Misodzi” said will be releasing a new song and video on the night.

“We will be dropping the visuals of our news song and guests will be treated to early Christmas gift,” she added.
