The Manica Post

I DELIVERED four bags of grain to GMB Mutsago depot in July, but up to now I have received no payment. The manager having checked on my papers said my payment was made to Steward Bank on 28 September. Going to Steward Bank to enquire more, they referred me to Ecosure where I registered as my payment method. Ecosure referred me back to

GMB manager who told me that I am not the only one so there is no need of these follow ups as the money will be paid eventually. What surprises us is that others were paid a long time ago and what criteria is being used for one to be paid. We deliver the grain not for luxury. — 0774029330.

The price for the paper is fair. My favourite column is Blabbermouth and I must say keep up the great work. I feel The Manica post falls short on both local and international news. I feel it’s an area which needs to be improved. Mutare.

Aleck Macheso is his own enemy, he pre- empts unreleased music- playing to the gallery, and when the songs are reproduced by unorthodox means, he cries foul to piracy. He forgets he was shooting himself in the foot. Its an attitude problem that highlights intellectual capacity. — CTM.

It seems Zupco has a high penchant and propensity for new buses forgetting that we run after new business but keep old customers satisfied. A visit to their depots resemble a graveyard. Obsolete buses lie everywhere. They range from Mazda Swaraj,T3500, AVMs , Faw, Volvos, you name them. Now, another lot of new buses have been bought. They risk undergoing the same route, use and abandon. It is a merry go round circus. What do you do when the shirt you want to put on has a missing button? Discard and buy a new one? Look for another? No. We use needle and thread to sew a replacement button. We are talking of maintaining what you have before introducing another fleet. — Concerned. ****

There seems to be a penetration of kombis registered in the owner’s names and address being outsiders, meaning not local residents. The influx naturally raises suspicion whether it may have been stolen. In the event of an accident, passengers have to contact owner in say Harare, Chiredzi, Norton, to cite but a few. — Sakubva.

People should be aware of evil thugs who target WiFi spots. These thugs pretend to be using WiFi but pounce on unsuspecting people while they are busy on their phones. Be warned. — Tawanda Mhlanga Dangamvura.

NRZ at 120 . It has done its part in moving the industry since 1897. We call upon the Government to move faster in recapitalising the parastatal. Due to deteriorating infrastructure freight volumes are at their lowest affecting cash flow. Let us do all we can to revive NRZ. — Dangamvura.

There are lot of people that are being taken advantage of by fake prophets. A lot are being disillusioned. This is after a lot of money is used. Traditional Pastors were better as they lived to their true calling. The love of easy money has led many astray. Surely stealing from the poor is a sin. — TM Dangamvura.

Thank you to those who organising the Warriors Legends and Barcelona.

It reminded us of the Dream Team days in the early nineties. The house was full and the game was so exciting. The Sadomba power equalising in the second half. I hope the current coaches and players learned some tactics from the legends. — Tawanda.

The black market practices have slowly crept into education through leakage of ZIMSEC examinations and forged certificates. Sadly, the culprits get light sentences as if discrediting our local examinations. Some people have become experts in sitting for others to write ZIMSEC examinations. There is a mindset not to see good from the best in our country. — Richard Mahuhushe Chauke.
