Mubobobo storm

Hubby turns ‘mubobobo’ act on her

A CHIGODORA couple’s marriage is on the brink of collapse because of the husband’s weird behaviour of practicing ‘mubobobo’ on his wife while denying her physical intimacy, The Weekender has leant.

The fed-up wife, Fadzai Murime said she had had enough of her lawfully wedded husband’s spooky behaviour and now rues the day she met Stephen Murime.

Fadzai alleged that she has been traumatised by the bluetooth sex that she has been subjected to by her husband since September 2017 when they wedded.

In an interview with The Weekender, Fadzai said her husband confessed to her father that he used juju on her but refused to reveal the reason why he did so.

She now wants to end the marriage because it has been so long since they became intimate. Fadzai alleges that Murime complains of back ache each time she demands her conjugal rights.

“We met last year and tied the knot months later at the Mutare Magistrates’ Civil Court. At that time, I was ecstatic because I believed that I had finally met a loving man who would provide me with company and love till death did us part. Luck was however, not on my side since I am lonely in the marriage and living like a widow.

“Stephen confessed to my father that he used traditional juju on me. He went into detail on how he used the juju to sprinkle on my footprints as well as where I had swept. He however, refuses to tell us the reason why he did so,” she said crying.

Fadzai claims that her husband appears in her dreams every night and that in the dreams they would be intimate.

“When I wake up, he will be sitting at the edge of the bed glaring at me with his eyes wide open like he would be in a trance. My body will be weak and my private parts will be very hot. During the first days, I would question him on why he would be staring at me and he would order me to go back to sleep. This happens every night,” she explained.

Fadzai says they have since been stopped from attending church after he confessed at Guta raJehova church to procuring and using juju.

The couple recently appeared before the civil courts, where Fadzai was granted a protection order against Murime. The magistrate ordered Murime not to insult, refuse access to the house, chase from their matrimonial home or make threats to Fadzai.

“At church he confessed that he had acquired juju from a well known traditional healer so that he could expand his poultry project. At times, he laments that what he did is unforgivable as he failed to give a token of appreciation to the healer.

“He has since moved out of our matrimonial bed after I confronted him on the mubobobo issue. I have no access to his new bedroom. He hides food in this room,” she told the court.

In response, Murime denied ever acquiring juju from any traditional healer and chasing his wife from their house. He said he looked after his wife well and provided for her despite the fact that she was a talkative woman who denied him peace in his own house.

He refused to comment on the mubobobo issue.

The matter was presided over by Miss Nyasha Kuture.
