Seal of approval for lithium mine . . . as President breaks ground

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa Wednesday officiated at the ground-breaking ceremony of the Arcadia Lithium Mine in Goromonzi that will see an initial investment of $165 million being injected into the project.

The project, which is being spearheade­d by Australian company, Prospect Resources, is expected to employ over 700 people in its first phase and constructi­on of other amenities like roads, schools and houses. President Mnangagwa said the opening of the mine was in line with Government’s policy to industrial­ise the country. – The Herald
