THANKS to all those who contributed to our very own national fabric. The Zimbabwe bird is the symbol that uniquely and best describes us as Zimbabweans. Well done, I will definitely get myself one. — Rudo K

*** Thank you The Manica Post for giving us news from far and beyond, keep on doing the good work. — Lloyd Kosi.

*** How did China get it right with this deadly plague? Well, they are law-abiding citizens, wear their masks and practice social distancing all the time. Zimbabweans should follow suit and be reminded that this coronavirus pandemic is still with us. Members of public are advised to be more responsible especially this festive season because the virus is highly contagious. Covid-19 is real and it kills. —Terrence Mwedzi

*** As we are currently experiencing heavy rainfalls across the nation, please don’t attempt or be forced to cross flooded rivers.

Let us take extra precautions. We cannot continue to lose lives this way. — Merekera M.

*** It is a well known issue that Zimbabwe has a border with Mozambique. If the Islamists militants finish with Mozambique, their second attack will be Zimbabwe.

President Mnangagwa’s recent visit to Mozambique was very crucial and worthwhile since our President is a mega expert in these issues. Africa is not a breeding ground for terrorists. It is wise to fight with them on Mozambique soil than on our land. Those who understand war better will agree with me. — Terrence Mwedzi

*** I think people must win posts through elections not appointment to avoid unnecessary confusion in the political sphere. — Post Reader, Port Elizabeth, South Africa

*** Can Government please assist the Manicaland Provincial Registrar’s offices, how can we have a Government office being flood with water.

We are going to lose important documents. Always remember that a stitch in time saves nine. Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Minister, Kazembe Kazembe, this is your ministry and should urgently attend to this. — Coronation P

*** Zimbabweans, let us be vigilant ahead of the Christmas and New Year festivities by preventing the possible spreading of Covid-19. It is all our responsibility to help in combating the disease.

The second wave of the pandemic is raging and claiming more lives, therefore there is a need for citizens to complement Government’s efforts in curbing the possible spread of the pandemic during the festive season. Let us continue to play our part. Do not let your guard down. Do it for your family and loved ones, do not be the one spreading the disease to them. — Lovy Dovy.
