Blessed school fees week y’all

BLABBER does not celebrate anyone’s misfortune.

Instead, Yours Truly prefers to take the lessons and impart to those willing to listen.

No doubt, we can take heed and learn from others’ mistakes, thus sidestepping unfortunate experiences.

After all, global renowned martial artist, Bruce Lee once stated: “Absorb what is useful, discard what is useless and add what is specifically your own.”

Whether it is martial arts or any other area of life, we take from others and absorb what works for us.

During this process, we will make mistakes. This is the reason why Blabber felt the need to pen about this other once successful businessman who had made a name for himself in the production of automobile filters. He succeeded big time! At the climax of his success story, he earned the respect and admiration of reputable companies and even had the opportunity to partner a highly regarded entity that used to brand his products before taking them to the market.

But then we all know how he used to spend on women and merrymaking. That was his downfall.

It is shocking, much as it is pitiable, that the guy no longer has anything and all. That mega automobile filters production company is all history.

He is not the only one in this mess, only that the other one is feeling it from his grave.

You remember that other stout and ever jovial well-known farmer from this other resort area?

I mean this other late brother whose love for the gentleman’s game of golf made him more familiar with the different golf courses around the country much more than he was familiar to principles of managing his family’s farming business.

Blabber was sad to learn that before his recent demise, the party animal had lost the vast tracts of land that he inherited from his father after he had accrued so many debts from the consumptive loans he obtained from different financial institutions.

Instead of passing the lucrative farming enterprise to his children just like his late father did, he chose to plunder everything and eventually gave off the land to a white farmer who then settled his debts. While most people think he succumbed to that deadly virus, Blabber has it on good authority that the merrymaker could not withstand the blood pressure that comes with such circumstances.

The long and short of my story is that it is good to unwind when we have achieved in life, but that should never be at the expense of the basics of professional business management and the hard work that would have taken you to the top of the world.

After all, it is hard to get on top, but very easy to tumble to the ground.

Till next Friday, have a blessed school fees week!
