Zimbabwe is a rare gem

Zimbabwe is a beautiful country endowed with vast mineral and natural resources as well as several scenic tourist attractions. If we put our toxic politics aside, the country can become one the greatest nations in the world again. – Kenndedy Mlambo responding to ‘Botswana’s President Masisi visits Nyanga’

Anger management is crucial

If people are facing problems in life, they should seek professional counselling to help them cope. Anger management is very important, otherwise people will get themselves into deep trouble if they fail to control and contain their temper. – Gwinyai Shoko

Our hope as parents and guardians is that what is happening at the school will not affect the performance of the teachers and learners and result in the pass-rate going down. – Gwinyai Shoko responding to ‘Heads roll at Hartzell High . . . school disconnected for bridging metre illegally’

While this is a welcome development, there is also urgent need to fix our match venues across the country. – George Moyo responding to ‘SRC, ZIFA meet’

I hope to see Mbira DzeNharira perform at this year’s Manicaland Agricultural Show. – Nyarie C. Gadhykha responding to ‘Unforgettable bira nigh’ Facebook

The lasting solution to this recurrent situation is that Mutare City Council should court private players who can run the facility effectively and manage it properly or at least partner them. A lot of things are sub-standard about our stadium. The VIP section, tunnel and terraces, among others, all need to be upgraded to modern and international standards. – Peter Marecha responding to ‘Sakubva Stadium: Who is fooling who?’

I am of the humble opinion that Lloyd “Samaita” Mutasa must concentrate more on Division One football and getting teams promoted into the Premiership as he always struggles in the top-flight league. – Tendayi Mudadirwa Greene responding to ‘Samaita’s third bite of the cherry’

Thank you City of Mutare for this welcome development that will improve service delivery in our city. Other local authorities should also follow this good example – Shorai Magomero ‘responding to “Major boost for Mutare refuse collection’
