Stay calm this festive season

We are in the festive season, and as we celebrate, we must not throw caution to the wind. We need to stay calm and be responsible throughout the duration of the period. Parents and guardians are encouraged to strictly monitor their children and ensure that they do not indulge in drug and substance abuse. It is also everyone’s duty to take caution and prevent accidents. We pray for an incident-free Christmas Day, and let us remember to give and share with the less privileged among us in our communities so that they also get to cherish the day. —

Let us kick out cholera

To tame the cholera monster, we all need to stick to the basics of good hygiene. As we get together for the Christmas festivities, let us not take any chances with our health. It calls for vigilance on our part to be careful and watch the food that we eat and how it is prepared as well as whether it is all done under hygienic conditions. Let us kick out cholera. —
