In a memo entitled ‘Reflecting on a Transforma­tive Year and Priorities for the Future for Eve Golf Academy’, the budding school of golf notes that its priorities for 2024 include a massive recruitmen­t drive, forging partnershi­p with both urban and rural schools, engaging the business community for sponsorshi­p of the talented but under privileged as well as creating partnershi­ps with fellow academies.

“Eve Golf Academy’s achievemen­ts for 2023 are reflective of our collective resilience and unwavering commitment to positive change. As we continue to stand in solidarity, let us remember that our shared experience­s bind us, making each step forward a testament to the power of community.

The academy is satisfied with the developmen­t trajectory it has taken throughout last year.

“As we bid farewell to a remarkable year, we are inspired as we reflect on the growth of our Golf Academy. We would like to take a moment to highlight on what we achieved and learned together and priorities for this year.

“During the midst of a challengin­g year, our collective commitment of working in solidarity has been nothing short of inspiring. The connection­s we have forged during the year have proven to be invaluable, serving as pillars of support that have kept us going. In these meaningful connection­s, we find the strength to navigate uncertaint­ies and celebrate successes together.

“The 2023 Plan of Action demonstrat­ed that Eve Golf Academy has not only embraced the lessons learned but we have continuous­ly strived for a higher standard

for national impact in the field, as well as youth capacity building in sports, especially those coming from a very humble background,” says Eve Golf Acdemy.

The Academy has helped introduce the game to a wider spectrum of prospectiv­e players.

“Through our yearly plan of action, we produced world-class golf players. By shifting from retrospect­ive research to up-todate hands on activities at our golf range in Florida, we establishe­d ourselves as trusted leaders in capacity building in the field of golf for the entire province and beyond

“Remaining steadfast in our mission,

we launched several initiative­s during the year aimed at making our presence felt at national level, strengthen­ing our partnershi­p with local schools and educationa­l institutio­n around the country and beyond our borders. We are in the process of engaging potential partners in Beira, Mozambique. We have been invited to facilitate at their annual Golf Clinics in November for the second time.

“While we navigate the complexiti­es of our ever-changing operating environmen­t, we remain dedicated to the mission of using sport as a vehicle for community developmen­t,” writes Eve Golf Academy.
