Hosting Uhuru celebrations in Manicaland an excellent move
As someone who hails from Manicaland, I heartily welcome the move to have the national Independence Day celebrations in the province. This presents a perfect opportunity for some of the gallant sons and daughters, both late and living who hail from Manicaland, to be spotlighted for the respective roles they played during the protracted liberation war against the settler regime which eventually culminated in the cherished freedom and the birth of our nation, Zimbabwe. Indeed, the Second Republic is walking the talk on devolution and decentralising national events to all parts of the country in line with leaving no one and no place behind. Long live, Zimbabwe. — Native Warrior

Well done Mutare City Council
It looks like work on Sakubva Stadium is progressing well and our hope is that the match venue gets the greenlight to host Premiership matches. Good going to City of Mutare for the refurbishments. The local authority needs to partner other stakeholders like local businesses in order to maintain the facility in a sustainable manner. — Thomas Gwara **********
Report suspicious cattle movements
The authorities who intercepted a truck ferrying 14 cattle infected with January disease must be applauded for a job well done. The public must stay vigilant and alert by reporting to police any suspicious and illegal movement of livestock without proper clearance because this poses serious danger to unsuspecting people who may consume the meat and it also causes the rapid spread of diseases. — Concerned Farmer **********
Thumbs up to Honourable Gata Mutema-Musikavanhu we are grateful for the wonderful work our House of Assembly representative, Honourable Angeline Gata, is doing. She is working hard in line with the Second Republic’s drive of making Zimbabwe an upper-middle income society through Vision 2030 as pronounced by President Mnangagwa. The ultimate aim is to improve the quality of life in our constituency, province and country as a whole. In pursuit of this noble goal, Honourable Gata is drilling boreholes, installing solar-powered water pumps for irrigation purposes at various schools and villages like Madiridzo. We are also benefiting from the solar-generated electricity. Biogas fuel tanks are also being constructed and this is a step in the right direction. These initiatives have since been expanded to include training and equipping the youth with skills in various trades.
This will help mould entrepreneurial young people that can meaningfully contribute towards nation building in pursuit of economic development and social transformation. –
