MASVINGO Quarries is a wholly-owned Zimbabwean company registered under the Companies Act Chapter 24.03 as Masvingo Brick and Tile (Pvt) Ltd (MBT). It is located 7km from Masvingo city along Mashava-Bulawayo Road in Clovelly suburb (KwaDiyo).

The company is into the business of manufacturing and selling quarry stones and concrete products such as bricks, blocks, pavers and pipes, among others.

Masvingo Quarries has been the leading supplier of quality quarry stones and bricks ever since its inception in 1947.

MBT has supplied aggregate and concrete products to the Ministry of Transport and its successors for the construction of most highways in Masvingo and Midlands provinces, mining towns like Zvishavane and Mashava, companies and organisations in Masvingo, Midlands and Matabeleland North provinces such as universities, government departments, property developers, non-governmental organisations, construction firms, schools, hospitals and many others.

We strive to continue providing products and services to the Masvingo community and its hinterland in leaps and bounds.

MBT has a state-of-the-art complete crushing and processing plant for quarry stones.

This crushing plant can produce four different grades of quarry aggregates simultaneously ranging from 5mm to 40mm ballast.

The plant is capable of providing stones to the ongoing Beitbridge-Chirundu road dualisation as well as Masvingo local community needs without any strain.

Furthermore, we recently invested in brickmaking machinery with a production capacity of up to 40,000 standard bricks per day.

This shall enable us to meet the needs of housing construction in the suburbs of Masvingo and surrounding areas at low prices.

We pride ourselves as one of the last remaining heavy industries in Masvingo city as we employ an average of 100 permanent and contract employees at any given time who are remunerated fully every month.

MBT is run by one of the directors, Clifford Mumbengegwi, who is the MD, who has vast experience in business management and is a holder of various degrees and certificates.

The company’s management team is composed of highly committed professionals supported by strong academic backgrounds and extensive hands-on experience in corporate management.
