- By Takemore Maz uruse

In a move designed to benefit Zimbabwean home seekers in-country and in the Diaspora, real estate giant West Property Zimbabwe has engaged community builder and people development expert Dr Rutendo Mudzamiri, popularly known as Dr Ru, in a global brand agent endorsement deal that will see her enlist progressive Zimbabweans across the globe, particularly women in her network for quality and affordable housing.

The deal signed last Friday afternoon also ensures Dr Ru gets a housing upgrade from West Property Zimbabwe while she in-turn encourages fellow citizens and women to level-up by enlisting for West Properties housing deals.

West Property Company established in 2007 is at the forefront of property development companies in Harare Zimbabwe.

Their business model borders on a master planner role, financier and developer of appropriately designed, sustainably built residential and commercial properties within the Greater Harare Area.

In an official statement published on their social media accounts, West Properties said they were happy to engage Mudzamiri and look forward to a fruitful and lasting relationship with her.

“We are proud to have Dr Rutendo Mudzamiri join the West Property Zimbabwe family as a global brand agent,” reads the statement.

“Known as Dr Ru, she is a trained leadership practitioner with a doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University in the United States.

“She brings in a network of over 15 000 women from all walks of life and will be representing West Property to the diaspora market.

“We are excited in taking West Property to the world, and bringing investment into Zimbabwean properties.”

Mudzamiri, who has continued to touch lives with her community-driven initiatives, saluted West Properties for the honour and pledged to play her part in pushing the real estate player’s Onwards, upwards and outwards! mantra aimed at empowering citizens with quality, affordable and flexible property acquisition arrangements.

“It’s an amazing opportunity to serve on a larger scale, social impact is at the core of my heart and what an honour to push women and men to work hard to attain the lifestyle hard word deserves,” she said.

“Westprop is not only a business, it pushes a lifestyle and how compatible it is that our work, especially in the Her Next Level community (formerly BossBabe) pushes ownership, hard work and service.

“I can only be as great as the people I serve, so I will play my part and trust that the women and men in the various communities I represent will jump on this opportunity to invest in self and home that Westprop presents.”

The recognition gives the consistent community champion another opportunity to serve and she pledged to do her best.

“This engagement is an honor to serve greatness and it is weighty in a beautiful way to represent such a brand that believes in hard work and is all about integrity, success and prosperity of people,” Mudzamiri said.

“What stands out most for me is how everyone at Westprop walks the talk and to describe the leadership at Westprop as simply human is an understatement, this is an honor to be an extension of Westprop mission in pushing the Diaspora community and more women to own properties and invest in Zimbabwe.”

Various organisations have continued to engage brand influencers as they seek to enhance their brand communication and reach the wider populace with their products and services.

Mudzamiri brings a wealth of experience given her ability to work with and nurture fellow citizens as demonstrated through Her Next Level community, formerly BossBabe, an organisation she founded and through, which she inspires and encourages fellow women to self-actualise and follow their dreams.

This fits into the broader scope of West Properties whose purpose is to use their creative gifts, determination and “never give up” attitude to deliver lasting value in real estate development for all stakeholders.

“We want to leave a legacy that benefits society,” the company said in a statement.

“Sustainable development initiatives that have a positive environmental effect through giving back 10% of our profits to the vulnerable and less fortunate children of Zimbabwe.”

West Properties has continued on a positive path and have engaged radio and TV personality KVG as well as celebrated musician Jah Prayzah as their brand ambassadors prior to the new endorsement deal with Dr Ru.
