Man killed over sadza

A Mt Darwin man was fatally stabbed by his brother during a fight over a plate of sadza.

Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe said Godknows Chikanyiwa has been arrested for stabbing Nyasha to death.

“It is worrying that we continue to witness murder cases emanating from simple domestic violence cases,” Mundembe said.

Nyasha allegedly arrived home from a beer drink at around 9pm last Wednesday and found his brother preparing a meal.

A dispute ensued over relish, resulting in Godknows stabbing the deceased in the stomach.

Their father Prince woke up and found Nyasha crawling on the ground in agony and ferried him to Karanda Mission Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon admission. —
