Implats to acquire a further one-million RBPlat shares

Johanesburg – Platinum group metals miner Impala Platinum (Implats) has concluded agreements to acquire a further 1.01-million Royal Bafokeng Platinum (RBPlat) shares, constituting about 0.35% of RBPlat shares in issue. This will increase Implats' shareholding in RBPlat to 37.62%. In January, Implats issued an offer circular to shareholders proposing to acquire all RBPlat shares it does not already own for R90 in cash and 0.3 of an Implats share per RBPlat share.
