Rinos Mautsa unstoppable
THE Will of Time (2022), a newly published auto-biographical book by Rinos Mautsa is regarded by many as a master piece. It is rather a great way of celebrating life, victories and revival of fading painful past memories to energies new hope along the journey of life for an ambitious man on an unstopable quest to conquer childhood dreams of making a great impact on the African continent.
In an interview, Mautsa told Stand
ard Style, that a life of victory is characterised by hard-working, long working hours, strategic planning and the willingness to defy negative threaterning thoughts inviting one to quit.
"Everything is drawn from inspiration. One does not wake up counting money. There are processes one should rst go through. Some experiences are painful. To inspire others who have a vision, share your story with them.
"I took time to write, The Will of Time because I wanted to inspire some young people across the continent. In my vision, l want them to be better than me and achive more than l have
done
"The only condition is they should be prepared and more experienced than those that went before. Its all about endurance and overcoming real challenges. Trust me, rich men read widely to be where they are," said Mautsa.
During his experince and interactions with men of means, Mautsa, a multimillionaire and outstanding Zimbabwean investor with a footprint across Africa, explained that life depends on one's faith, commitment and willingness to apply principles of success in everything.
"My message to young entrepreneurs is there is no permanent situation in this life. I have seen gheto boys becoming millionaires, prisoners becoming presidents, school dropouts becoming international in uencers, rural bred folks becoming billionaires. It's all in the season and time. If we reverse the clock and check lives of the people we are admiring – we learn about passion, sacri ce, faith, and overcoming challenges. There is no short cut to success and success is not magical. One has to learn and apply principles of success," he said.
Mautsa believes in giving back to his community through training.
"I inspired birth of Compass Community Foundation, which mentor hundreds of college students annually to be active citizens and build own career paths," he said.
"And because l am a product of mentorship l also train many, most of them are now running successful businesses."
Mautsa explained that, his legacy expanded from basic running call centres, to targeting the whole customer facing industry from banking, insurance, manufacturing, security, telecomms and health among others sectors under Contact Centre Association of Zimbabwe.
Tech 24, one of his ICT companies has grown to be a leading supplier of call centre solutions (cloud based on premise), o ering queue management system, omni channel chatbot, smart home solutions as well as other ICT hardware components.
Mautsa said: "We opened o ces in Botswana and Zambia as well. Whilst in the customer experience front we also have Chartered Institute of Customer
Management that o ers online professional quali cations across Africa with o ce presence in over 13 countries. This has grown to be one of the largest professional body on the continent."
The pint size business mogul is also founder of Picco Construction and EnergyPlus.
"Capital hindered me to venture into construction earlier. In a way it forced me to start with low capital intensive businesses. Our success in Zimbabwe prompted us to open shop in Zambia and Botswana.
"We are now into the energy Sector, under EnergyPlus brand, which deals in LPG and renewable energy solutions. EnergyPlus is present in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi and we are also targeting other countries within the African continent. Through our company, my partner and CEO was recognised by Forbes Africa in 2021.
"As a new entrant in the sector our duty is to address issue of energy poverty in Africa and meeting clients needs," said Mautsa.
