Matter of fact

In our April 3, 2022 edition we published a story on page 7 headlined, ZBC rocked by a fresh tender scam where it was claimed that a recent tender by ZBC for Nissan vehicles had been done unprocedurally and against company policy.

It was also alleged that the vehicle procurement by the corporation was meant to benefit senior managers.

It has since come to our attention, with documentary evidence from the corporation, that the ZBC policy does not speak to the make of vehicles the corporation must procure.

We, therefore, unreservedly apologise to ZBC and individuals named in the article for the harm that the story may have caused them.
