Serial robbers in court

TWO men from Bulawayo allegedly went on the rampage and broke into city shops after damaging walls using a grinder and stole various items including a lead guitar, speakers and cash.

This was heard by Bulawayo magistrate Vivian Ndlovu when Benjamin Ngwenya (36) from Luveve and Lovemore Mashamba (34) appeared before her charged with unlawful entry and theft.

They were remanded to April 25. Prosecutor Sehliselo Khumalo told the court that the two broke into shops in the central business district between April and May last year where they stole property worth US$ 6000 and nothing was recovered.
