Woman caught with drugs

A 40-year-old Mudzi woman has been charged in connection with illegal drug dealing.

Dorcas Masanga was found in possession of sachets of dagga, bethasols creams, epiderm creams and ibuprofen pills on March 29 by police on street patrol in Mudzi.

Masanga appeared before Mutoko magistrate Elijah Sibanda on Friday and pleaded not guilty.

She told the court that she needed to secure a lawyer and the matter was postponed to April 27.

According to the state, Masanga was stopped, and searched following her suspicious behaviour, and found in possession of 22 twists of dagga, 6×15 grams bethasol cream, 3×15 grammes of epiderm cream and 15×200 milligrams of ibuprofen pills.
