Byo author pens four books in one-go
BULAWAYO author Timothy Witness Hadebe (23) has personi ed the word “bookworm” after scribing four novels at once.
In a show of his genius, Hadebe also launched all of them at the same day and said all that work was a walk in the park, pun intended as he wrote three of the books while sitting at the centenary park in Bulawayo.
NIGERIAN singer, pastor, trumpeter and gospel songwriter Nathaniel Bassey will arrive in the country a day before his Africa Day performance at the Celebration Church’s Action Conference dubbed Fearless Praise.
The Fearless Praise concert marketing consultant Thandi Nyoni con rmed Bassey’s arrival.
“Pastor Nathaniel will arrive in the country on Wednesday alongside his full band; it will be a memorable worship experience not to miss,” said Nyoni.

Speaking to Standard Style on the sidelines of the launch at Zimbabwe Music Academy, Hadebe said all the books carry unique and educational information.
“I am a book-alcoholic, I can’t function if I don’t write and If you come to our house you will nd that I am always scribbling something hence it was easy for me to write these books,” he said. country lately, church and gospel leaders have also begun to bring in international gospel artistes, particularly from Nigeria.
Nigerian gospel singer Minister GUC performed live at Belgravia Sports Club in April before his fellow gospel singer Adah Ehi performed live at the Harare International Conference Centre early this month.
Bassey is a renowned African worshipper, hence the move by organisers of the Fearless Praise conference to include him on the programme.
Hadebe said his favourite is “Kwasukasukela” which is a compilation of folktales.
“Kwasukasukela is more like theatre and I love theatre as it leaves room for imagination. In the book “Akulampilo Egazini” the reader will come across scary but reality based stories of goblins, blood and magic, and other book titles are Kumnyama and Letters from Anonymous,” he said.
“The theme for this year’s Action Conference is Abiding in the Holy Spirit,” Nyoni said.
“Also note that Fearless Praise will be held on Africa Day and what better way to praise the King of Kings than with a well renowned African worshipper likes Nathaniel Bassey.”
The Action Conference kicks o on May 24 and also features local artistes such as Ellard Cherayi, Bonnie Deuschele, Janet Manyowa and Tembalami.
The Fearless Praise concert tickets are available at Worldwide Bookstore which is at Celebration Centre Borrowdale, Kenlink Pharmacies and
