The HP Lubes 2023 Castrol Jamboree

EVERY year the 4X4 Club of Zimbabwe hosts the HP Lubes, Castrol 4X4 Jamboree and this year is no different to any other year, except it will be bigger and better with more to see!!

It comes as no surprise that this event has become one of the country’s most popular 4X4 motorsport event.

The Castrol Jamboree will be held at Donnybrook over the weekend of May 27 and 28, 2023.

This year is a very special year with the Club celebratin­g their 30th Anniversar­y and hosting the 28th edition of the Jamboree competitio­n, in addition Landrover is celebratin­g their 75th Anniversar­y and joining us at Donnybrook together with the Automobile Associatio­n (AA) of Zimbabwe who is a sponsor who is celebratin­g their 100th Anniversar­y.

Our main sponsor, HP Lubes, distributo­r of Castrol Products has a long and proud associatio­n with the 4X4 Jamboree and has supported this event for over 27 years now and we are so grateful for their supports over all these years.

In Zimbabwe, Castrol is one of the longest-establishe­d lubricatio­n companies, having been doing business in this country since 1935.

We always look forward to this event and would like to say a huge “Thank you” to all our sponsors who make this event possible.

The event promises to be a weekend full of action-packed entertainm­ent with lots of excitement and fun for the whole family, running for both days from 8am till late.

Entry is US$5 per adult or ZWL at the rate of the day—children under 12 are free of charge.

Proceeds of the gate goes towards a worthy cause and this year Round Table 1 will ensure that it goes to the charity of their choice.

Full bar and catering will be available.

All your chilled drinks will be available from “Wine on Line”, and your daily dose of coffee you can find at Barista Coffee and Zimbarista stands.

Feed your taste buds from Wendy’s, Suzie’s, Tony Street Café, Janes Pit Stop, Bakers Piri Piri, The Skotch Cart, Ciao Bella, Zimtong and many other caterers who will be there and enjoy your meal in the shady area under the trees.

There will also be a supervised play area for the children and jumping castle.

Some of the drivers have been competing since the early days of Jamboree with more than 50 years driving experience under their belts.

Some are considered veterans in this sport and they are still investing in their vehicles and competing today.

This competitio­n is enjoyed by both young and old.
