The global implications of Israel-Gaza genocidal acts!

- *Ken Mufuka is a Zimbabwean patriot. He writes from the US.

OUR research has shown that this column is taken seriously by high school and college students as well as people of a airs. I will, therefore, follow an academic approach to the debate at hand for their bene t.

The 84-page case put forward by South Africa against the state of Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) will forever stay in the annals of history as serving to divide the Eurocentric global hegemonic powers from the Third World.

Remember that the Europeans said their global leadership was based on a superior moral universe based on fairness, democracy and equality. South Africa’s case is not only an indictment against Israel but serves to reveal the emptiness of the above promise, and to show the true colours of Israel’s supporters, namely the US, Britain, Canada, Belgium, and Germany, and behind them the various Jewish lobbies.

Notice that these countries either had genocidal histories behind them of murdering and wiping out native populations. Germany attempted to wipe out the Hereros in Namibia, Belgian King Leopold is alleged to have presided over the murder of 15 million Congolese to force them to bring rubber juices for his bene t (without pay).

According to the South African document, the process and intent by Israel to wipe out 2.3 million Gazans from their homes has begun. Not only were the Israeli soldiers carrying out the orders, but they were doing so with gusto and ferocity unparallel in modern warfare, even singing songs of mirth:

“We come to avenge Amalek.” Chorus: We have only one voice and one purpose.”

The reaction of the global hegemonists is very important to this debate. I could not nd a coherent television report on any US television service. Eventually, I found a report on Al Jazeera. Think about this for a moment. Former British intelligence o cer, Alistaire Crooke, con rmed what I could not have imagined happened. The case by South Africa was missing from all the “normal” television stations in Europe and Britain, including the BBC and Sky News.

On Friday, Israel presented its case at the World Court. All the news outlets mentioned above were alive with the case, all day for the next 24 hours.

The signi cance of these actions are far reaching. We have reached the end of the road with the imperialists. They are reprobate. They do not want to hear Gaza’s case. Israel is at “war” with a people who have no police force and no army, only resistance ghters to the apartheid occupation.

While South Africa was pleading with the ICJ to issue an injunction to Israel to stop the murder of innocent men, women, and children at the time of going o press, numbering 30 000, two thirds of these being women and children, the US and Britain were sending support and equipment to Israel to nish the slaughter.

That slaughter constitutes the superior moral order which is the foundation of their hegemony.

Israel’s case (its defenders having never been called to book before) was weak, ad hominen, resorting to use of reductio ad absurdum.

They said South Africa was joined at the hip with Hamas and was doing its bidding. In any case, Israel, which itself had su ered genocidal acts under Adolf Hitler, could not possibly be accused of repeating such acts. The facts presented were ignored.

Reaction of the world.

Generation X (ages 15 to 35) can clearly see the hypocrisy of their elders and the veil of superior This is the rst war whose cruelties are fully displayed on Tik Tok, Instagram and cell phones. Four premature babies were left to freeze in Al Shifa hospital as Israelis cut o their electricity. The Catholic Church of Refuge ( Angelicus) for the Weary was bombed; even a refugee camp su ered a similar fate.

All the time the US and Britian were rushing more bombs to the Israelis. This is the summa of western hegemonial moral superiority.

In one case, 20 000 bombs (some of them dumb bombs which have no eyes but destroy anything in their path) as well as 50 000 shells were shipped in one order.

Senator Bennie Sanders of Vermont has presented a passionate appeal to the US Senate ( January 14). “We are complicit in this action.” He said. The least Congress can do is to ask the US State Department to report to Congress how much equipment has been sent and how that equipment is being used, whether in compliance with US law or not.

In fact , the State Department had bypassed Congress in two circumstances and sent weapons of mass destruction anyway.

According to British intelligence o cer, Alistaire Crook, the US has stationed two frigates in the Mediterranean with a capability of carrying 2 000 special forces ready to assist Israel.

Britain is more involved than we know as Lord Cameron refused to say how many British special forces are already in Israel.

In a far away country, the Sons of Allah in Yemen vowed to stop any ship in the Red Sea bound for Israel.

“Stop the genocide.” Was their demand.

The British boasted (January 14th ) that they had lodged 70 missiles into Yemen as punishment for refusing to cooperate. So, rather than persuade Israel to stop the killing, the British started killing the Sons of Allah.

The issue at had is that the US and the UK will do anything and everything (as Sanders moaned) to aid and abet Israel.

“The US is complicit in all this.”Sanders moaned. That is the issue, you sluggard. Where does that leave us? Sanders is as a good a man as one will ever nd. US President Joe Biden won the overwhelming support of African American voters, surpassing that of Barak Obama. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is of Indian origin.

The lessons are very clear. The genocidal activities in Gaza have revealed the true nature of western hegemony.
