Holy Ten responds to Michael Magz split

- By NyaSha GoRoGodo

hIp-hOp star holy Ten has addressed his separation with singer Michael Magz in a recent episode of The Denny J Show. he clarified that there was no firing involved, but rather a need to change their working conditions as their one-year contract neared its end.

"I understand we helped each other musically," holy Ten explained, "but developing a brotherly bond can lead to a sense of entitlement. If your brother has a nice shirt, you might feel you deserve one too. But in professional settings, like an econet worker and Strive Masiwa, the relationship is different. Boundaries are clear. Blurring those lines, living together, and treating it purely as brotherhood can make people forget their recent success and expect parity with someone like me," he said.

holy Ten raised eyebrows by questioning Michael

Magz's sudden purchase of a $10,000 car shortly after leaving Samanyanga Sounds, where he claimed to earn only $60 per month. "There might be an agenda to troll me here," he suggested, implying Michael's claims may be exaggerated.

Despite the separation, holy Ten acknowledged Michael Magz's production contributions and expressed appreciation for his work.

Michael Magz, however, shared a different perspective in an interview with DJ Ollah. he cited growing dissatisfaction with his allowance despite increased workload and hit songs like "Ucharamba Uchipisa" and "Delilah." "We agreed on commissionbased pay, but it felt unfair when income from shows, where I performed several songs, didn't reflect the effort," he said.

Both artists offer contrasting narratives of their split, leaving fans to draw their own

conclusions.
