Victory over the devil's deception
THE devil cannot create, so he copies the Bible and says, 'He acts like a roaring lion.' He is not a lion, but he is acting like one. I'll give you an example: Have you ever put your hand near a candle or a light and have you noticed the shadow projected on the wall? The shadow is so scary. But the reason why the shadow is scary is because you would not have seen the hand projecting the shadow to the wall , if you could see it's just a hand or a simple object the fear induced by that image disappears. If only you could see the devil or his attacks, your fear will disappear.
The devil, knowing he is not intimidating nor so powerful, uses trickery to his advantage. Most of the time, the attack is not that big. The battle is not that big, but the battle is being amplified through our fear because fear is a tool the devil uses, and this fear amplifies his attacks against us.
I remember a vision I had, and in that vision, I saw angels that were around me. As I was looking at the angels, I was distracted by a figure that was distant from where the angels were. I noticed that it was the devil, but he was so small. He was insignificant. But I began to focus on the devil, and he became bigger and bigger until he intimidated me. He was not big, but my fear caused him to be amplified. So the reason why the attacks seem so overwhelming is because you are the one that observed the vanities. You are the one that amplified the attempts of the enemy.
The devil comes to manipulate, not to attack. He manipulates because he himself does not create, so he manipulates you so that through fear you create something that will destroy your own life. We as humans are the ones who carry the creative nature. The devil does not have creativity. So because we create and have creative abilities, all he needs to do is cause us to be fearful. And in that fear, we create a reality that becomes our cages of torment. You created that attack that is affecting your finances. The devil only needs to project himself.
There is no instance where the devil had authority or power to overcome you as a believer. But you, as a believer, allowed it, and you permitted him. Fear either becomes a bridge that causes what the enemy is doing to become a reality. The attack stops when you just say enough is enough, I refuse to observe lying vanities. It's time you refuse to help the devil to create something that will torment you or your family. Remember the vision that I told you about the devil that when I focused on him he was amplified, and the angels disappeared. One of the angels said to me, 'Do not observe lying vanities.' Many of you have been observing lying vanities.
You have allowed the devil to trick you. You've allowed his vanities to make you believe that you cannot enjoy life or even have victory over that situation. Today, I want to tell you that whatever it is that the enemy has been doing in your life, it's a vanity. The devil does not have power. The devil does not have authority. It's a vanity, and you have the authority to change the situation. You have the authority to change the circumstance. It is time for you to stand.
The moment one of the angels said, 'Do not observe lying vanities,' that devil disappeared. Today, I want to say to you, do not observe lying vanities. Declare that I will not look at the shadows or pay attention to those demonic projections. The shadows are not real. What is real is that God is faithful and all-powerful. If God's word says you are healed, then surely you are healed, no matter what sickness comes against you, it is a vanity. It is not real. If God says you are prosperous, no matter what setback comes in your finances, it is not real. You are prosperous. What God is saying is more real than what the enemy is doing. So I want you today to say to yourself, I will not observe lying vanities. I choose to walk in victory.
