Apostle Chiriseri’s legacy

- Shingi Munyeza

I STARTED working closely with Apostle Chiriseri in the mid-nineties when he was a pastor in Faith Ministries.

What attracted me to him was his passion for soul winning and raising champions for Jesus.

He had such a passion which was contagious.

Later on, he was to become our next senior pastor whose role was to mentor the next generation of leaders to take over leadership in our ministry.

I was one of those people he had to walk with closely and I enjoyed working alongside him and under his ministry.

Eventually, I took over as the senior pastor of Faith Ministries, a position I still hold.

He later on moved to found His Presence Ministries International together with his wife. Apostle Chiriseri was one person who dearly loved his wife and children and showed it in the way they worked together.

He was so affable to those he ministered to and with that you would find yourself following through his teachings and ministry without much persuasion.

His desire to raise champions resulted in many young and old people finding their purpose in God whilst at the same time he became an apostle sent by God to the nations.

He has left behind champions who will take the gospel of Jesus Christ forward and to me, that is his legacy.
