Never feel inferior, woman
A lot of misconceptions have been passed about women over the years and some of us have just decided to go with the flow and accept the misconceptions. I believe that’s coming to an end because God is raising a unique breed of purposeful women. The aim of
LET me start by making this clear to us all. A woman was not created as an afterthought neither was she created by accident. She was FULLY in the plan and purpose of God. There is the misconception that just because we were taken from the rib of Adam (which I will explain why it was done), then we were an afterthought. Society has made this their focus but allow me to say there is a great truth lacking in this misconception. Genesis 1:27 will tell you that So God created man in his image…….. male and FEMALE he created them. What it means then is that your spirit was created in Genesis chapter 1 and then your house was made in Genesis chapter 2 so woman you are not an afterthought but you fit perfectly in the plan of God. Never feel inferior because of society’s misconceptions.
The question then comes if I am not an afterthought then why was I taken from the rib of Adam? God already saw it that by nature, a woman is more influential than a man and thus in order to use her power for the good, I shall take her from the man so that she may be able to submit to him. That’s why 1 Corinthians 11:9 says “Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man” Look at the influence that Mother Eve had on Adam that changed a whole lot of things and prompted God to send Jesus to undo our fallen state. Ever noticed, before Adam and Eve ate the fruit, we never heard about submission? We only hear about it after the eating of the forbidden fruit. God saw it that this influential power needs to be controlled thus explaining why we were taken from a man’s rib in order to submit and bring order in the home. Submission is necessary to maintain order.
Now I am not saying this to make you feel good but to show you who you are. Study the word and see for yourself. Ever noticed that in the home, if a woman says (allow me to use my shona language) hama yakati hatiide pano, for sure hama iyoyo haiuye pamba. Of course other women use this power in a wrong way but as wise women let’s use our influential power for the good of the home, for the kingdom, in the workplace and to make our lives better. So Ladies, never underestimate the power that you have, you were created as influential beings. Just main- tain a strong relationship with God and the Holy Spirit, that’s your Source
Women are poor decision makers they say!
The world today believes women should not be given high positions because they are poor decision makers. We have had women who have decided to play along. NB: Just because someone’s life reflects a societal misconception that doesn’t mean her actions are reflecting
TRUTH. Women have the ability to make good well calculated decisions. Scripture says in 2 Timothy, WE have a sound mind. It didn’t say the males have got a sound mind, it says WE meaning both men and women. Do not cower from positions of authority due to what society has told you. Our mothers in the bible set a bar for us. If we are poor decision makers then how did Esther make the decision of saving the Jews, how did Deborah make the decision of going to war against Sisera (Judges 4). We have many examples to learn from. You are indeed powerful beyond what you think. Never for a second you look down upon yourself.
A woman should act like a man in order to show her strength!
Society wants us to act like men in order to show that we are of value, no wonder we have women today who try to act like men just to be accepted by society and be said to be strong. This is sad because they don’t realise that you can never change the person that God created you to be and remain fruitful, in fact you become dysfunctional. A woman is God’s product and this makes us God’s property. God’s products are always super-great. Celebrate your femininity because that’s where your strength is. Never for a second try to be like a man, God designed you to be feminine and powerful. God will help you to build you and not anyone else. I tell you, if we appreciate and love ourselves, the world will follow suit. Anyone who handles you is handling God’s idea so they better be gentle and nice with you because if they curse and abuse you they are cursing God’s idea and God will deal with them accordingly and bring justice. Your femininity in God’s eyes brings satisfaction to God because you are his perfect idea. Women are powerless! If we are powerless then why where we made helpers in Genesis 2:18. Helper implies that a woman’s disposition and ability supply what’s lacking in a man. You then realise how deceived our society is. Women have been made to believe a lie and it has somehow become a TRUTH in the world. A woman is a helper and she is powerful and resolute.You are created to supply what’s lacking in a man. Remember scripture says it’s a man who could not leave alone not a woman. Have you ever gone to a bachelor‘s home, most of them are very untidy. It’s only after he marries that you will begin to see order in his home. Please get me right, I am bit saying this to devalue men but this is a known fact.
You are PRECIOUS my dear sister and your role as a helper is of great
SIGNIFICANCE. Never limit yourself. You are created to help even financially. The proverbs 31 Woman is a helper even financially and so should you be. Do not get married out of financial need, do so to be a FULL
TIME HELPER! who is empowered even financially. I will close by saying RESOLUTE
AND FIRM that’s who you are. Whilst some men think they can step on us, abuse us and say whatever they like, that’s however coming to an end. We are arising (or rather we have arose) as a different breed that will show them that we are resolute and firm. We are decisive and in control. God gave us authority over all things and that includes authority to direct our tongues into being decisive women! Stand up to that man or boyfriend who treats you like you are of no value. You are God’s product and deserve to be treated with honour and respect. Good men are there, why cling onto someone who doesn’t appreciate you. No man has a right to tell you that you are not worthy. YOU ARE MORE PRECIOUS THAN RUBIES AND PEARLS and GOD IS CONCERNED ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT CONCERNS YOU.
Arise and be VOCAL, DARING, CONFIDENT YOU. Like I always say. Do not sit and wait for change to come in your life like a girl sitting in the tower waiting for prince charming to come riding in a white horse asking for her hand in marriage. * WOMAN! I strongly suggest that you get up, dress yourself in determination, accessorize yourself with courage and equip your feet with strength to run the good race of your life. Believe what God sees in you and not what the world says.
