Hear this Morgan, numbers don’t lie

Morgan thinks a return to the original MDC will save him but then the dynamics have changed a lot. A company of fools suffers harm and bad company corrupts good character.

JUST like I told you, the supposed grand opposition coalition is dead. Joice Mujuru, with all her weaknesses and her mounting troubles decided she had nothing to do with the nonsense. One of the MDC-T vice presidents, Thokozani Khupe decided to stay away from the circus. Tendai Biti of the People’s Democratic Party was there, but not there. Professor Welshman Ncube was there, but all the time he looked like he was ashamed to be there.

Allow me to laugh before I tell you of this one — kikikiki kikikikkikiki, Kudakwashe Bhasikiti and Munacho Mutezo were the bodyguards as Agrippa Mutambara arrived at the venue. Turi, turi, turi varume vakuru! Even jokers were welcome. Kikikikikiki!

The people were not there. This was supposed to be some grand coalition. Zimbabwe Grounds in Highfield was supposed to come to a standstill, but it looks like the people were feeding the MDC-T its own medicine of boycotts and stay-aways. Vanhu kana kuita hanya nazvo. Imomo muHarare munonzi it’s an MDC-T stronghold. Ko chii nhai vanhu? Please show some love!

The MDC-T in general and Morgan in particular should not blame anyone.

This was always coming. Morgan is fast developing into a desperate dictator and since the talks about the coalition started, he has been bullying people as if haasi kurwara. His total disregard and contempt of other people’s views were always going to put off many people.

But then Zimbabweans know their Holy Book. They were guided by 1 Corinthians 15 vs 33 which says; “Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character.” Others relied on Proverbs 5 vs 20-21 which says; “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”

Now look what has happened. Instead of a grand opposition coalition, we only saw attempts to re-unite the several MDC formations.

Morgan thinks a return to the original MDC will save him but then the dynamics have changed a lot.

A company of fools suffers harm and bad company corrupts good character.

Despite signing that piece of paper that they called the MOU, Joice couldn’t stand the bullying tactics of Morgan.

She is going to the 2018 elections ari oga. Chakashinga wena Joice.

On the other hand, Khupe thinks Prof Ncube is coming back to re-take Bulawayo away from her and naturally she is not happy.

While the circus was unfolding in Harare, Khupe anga achitoruka madhoiri zvake paBulawayo.

The unsure Biti was there to test the waters.

He doesn’t have the numbers so, he wanted to assess kuti iye Morgan

wacho achinavo here vanhu. On arrival at Zimbabwe Grounds, Biti was disappointed.

Reports say Biti grudgingly signed the piece of paper and quickly looked the other side.

Prof Ncube came to the venue hoping for the best. He was gutted by the pathetic figures. Reports say aishanyarika sepwere hoping kuti zvipere chop, chop.

Mutambara was so ashamed to be part of the circus such that when he stood before the MDC-T supporters, he refused to do the MDC-T slogan. Morgan told the clearly uninterested crowd that “takarohwa nezveusiku in 2013.” Well, just wait a bit Morgan, uchanyatsorohwa nezvemasikati next year.

Bishop Lazarus doesn’t feel like preaching too much about this because as they say, a picture can say a thousand words. Let the pictures speak and give you a thousand words.

Bishop is out!
