Crowds Swarm Sekuru Banda

-

Sekuru Kamwelo Banda's reputation precedes him as he has become famous, everywhere he goes, for attracting large groups of people seeking help with various problems. On Monday morning in Mbudzi along the Simon Mazorodze Road roundabout, the traditional healer was recognized by passers-by and instantly found himself surrounded by throngs of people, as countless as the sand. The people identified him while he was going about his business and quckly spread the word while hoping to seek council from him. To avoid possible harassment, Sekuru Banda sought refuge from the growing crowds at a nearby police station. People tried to make their way to the traditional healer as they crowded him, including public transport conductors, people who wanted to board surrounding buses and touts who shouted how they needed help from Sekuru Banda. "Sekuru the problem I am facing is a problem with money as well as with my family. There is no peace with between my wife and I because there are many people who owe me money," others were heard saying. The crowd continued to follow Sekuru Banda to the police station insisting that the police release the traditional healer to them. Sekuru Banda remained in the police camp for a while but upon leaving the station the crowds continued to follow him relentlessly. These people were heard commenting on Sekuru Banda's previous works such as the "the man with the baboon, you did well to make him grow breasts" and so forth. In the end, Sekuru Banda helped different people by giving them money, including money to help schoolchildren with their education and people with the different small businesses. On Saturday night, Sekuru Banda also failed to enter the Harare Agricultural Show (HAS) the moment people recognized him exiting his car and rushed towards him. Once again the police had to intervene and assist Sekuru Banda back into his vehicle. People that were waiting in line to enter HAS gave up their positions for a chance to get a moment with the acclaimed traditional healer. As such, Sekuru Banda said two famous overseas musicians, who graced the country, have visited his shrine in Craneborne, where he helped them with their different problems. Sekuru Banda says he is not going to stop helping people in different situations. To all those who want to seek help, visit Sekuru Banda's shrine at 2 Umguza Road, Millmington Park, Craneborne, Harare. Sekuru Banda can also be reached on the following numbers, 0774 231 363 and 0774 231 364.
