This is your moment: Use it!

-

YOUR moment is not coming, it is now. You do not live because everything is perfect; you perfect everything as you live. Do not put off living until tomorrow, when you can dance with life today. Do not put off growing and hope to be better tomorrow. You do not have the luxury of expiring while sitting on the shelf of life. Do not wait to give your best under perfect circumstances, the perfect economy and a pleasant climate. Take a radical stand in life. You do not live because everything is perfect. You do not grow because circumstances are allowing. You do not enterprise because everything is in your favour. The whole world is not obsessed with you and will not stop waiting for you to show up. Live in a hurry, because you may have been sitting for too long.

Shine where you are placed, work with what you have got and do what you must do. Do not wait to bloom on a large mountain, bloom where you are planted. Work the juice out of this humble moment and you will not be insignificant for long. You cannot wait for a large following to send a tweet, tweet now. Use this moment to learn, laugh, lead and live. Live your life in “go” mode, not “park” position. You will not gain any momentum standing still and waiting for a push. See this as your moment; the golden moment of your greatness. Let others wait to take special photographs, but for you live at the centre of your picture of greatness. While others are putting together their dream, live yours. While others are procrastinating, take massive action and do. Stop embracing excuses that you will laugh at as silly tomorrow; get on with the task at hand. This is your moment. Take heart and take action. What you are waiting for is waiting for you to show up.

Waiting Madness

I went to school, and I was waiting for the moment when I would graduate. I graduated, I was waiting for the day I would get a job. I started working, I waited for the day I would be made a manager. You can get the drift . . . it has been waiting and waiting and waiting when life is in the moment. When I look back, I realise that I have spent a lot of my life waiting; thinking that the future will be my reality. I realise now that I have put off living and been engaged in the waiting game while life was streaming past. As I waited, I was not in today, I could not live in tomorrow and if I keep waiting I run the risk of looking back at yesterday to realise that my life remained waiting in yesterday. Change now or life has its painful way of changing you.

Plan, yes but live in today because life is in the living. Make each moment count and see its wonder. I am living my dream and I better make the most of this dream. Do not wake me up to tell me that I was dreaming, for as I was dreaming that was life. As I live I live the dream daily. Live with passion and be your best in this moment. Live in the moment and do not abuse the present and squander the opportunity.

Grow or Go

Grow or go. Growth is the oxygen of business and life. If you are not growing in this moment, check your pulse, you might have died. Do not wait to die; let that day find you busy living and pre-occupied with growth and improvement. Be obsessed with living and stop dreaming of death and demise. All living things grow. All dead things do not grow and they must go. Growing enterprises thrive and shrinking ones vanish. This is your moment to grow. Stop looking out for circumstances to give you a growth permit. Enjoy growing and make learning fun. Make buying and reading books fun. Quit the fellowship of those who do not read books. Stay away from people that only touch books accidentally when they are cleaning.

Growing in this moment is possible and you are an agent of that growth. If you are not growing, do not publicise your stagnation. The economy though important is a small factor in determining your growth potential. You are the silver growth bullet, be on the growth offensive. Competition, though fierce and seemingly large, can be outfought and outflanked. Stop fearing elephants because you think you are a mouse. Just aim to be the best mouse you know and do the things that a mouse can do that an elephant can never do.

Chameleon Crawl

Quit living like a chameleon, hesitating and changing colour every day. Move with focus and intent. When you decide, take the decision and be bold enough to do what you must. Life is too short to be spent taking the colour of everything around you without having a colour yourself. Stand for something or fall for everything. Take your stand and occupy this moment with conviction. If you find you were wrong, repent and learn. Stop living your life in timidity and fear. Express life fully. You do not have the luxury of hiding from life. Be there, be present and be felt. Run, instead of walking because you do not have all the time and today is the youngest you will ever be. Whatever you do, be committed to it. Half measures never add up to a full life. I am yet to meet a half-hearted champion that was waiting to race in the unknown future. This is your moment, run with the lions.

Eating Pork

Quit eating pork and thinking like a pig. You cannot just be swallowing everything. Create boundaries for your life. Focus on this moment and be comfortable with the word “No!” You cannot be all things to all people. You cannot swallow everything and do everything. Focus your effort on this moment like a laser beam. Sometimes you have to say, “No!” Do not feel guilty because you said “No”. No little yes or little no. Say “No” so that you can say a Big Yes to your moment and to what you must really be present in. Stop poking your nose into that which has nothing to do with you and live life in your own terms. It is your moment, stop being a carbon copy of reality. Fake news is bad, a fake life is worse.
