First Lady leading the way

EDITOR — The idea of cancer screening is good.

However, there have been concerns regarding the next step after one has been tested positive to cancer.

The majority of people do not have resources to tame the spread of cancer even if they know it on time.

This breeds the perception that “victims are better off in the dark”.

We commend the action by the First Lady and call on Government and other partners to come in and assist those who test positive to cancer.
