Prof Ncube, please help pensioners

EDITOR — Can it be brought to the attention of the Minister of Finance, Prof Mthuli Ncube, that Government pensioners have been suffering in silence since 2013.

The lump sum of a pensioner is paid after 12 months and this is very unfair because the pensioner will be expected to do with a monthly pay out of less than $200. Prior to 2013, pensioners used to get their lump sums within three months of leaving employment. That has been the case since 1980.
