Biography Ordained 19 August 1978 at Zhombe Mission by Rt. Rev. Tobias Chiginya He wanted to be an artist His friend Stephen Munekane acted as a catalyst in his life Stephen Munekane was a bridge to Sekuru‘s vocation He was always the 1st : 1st Seminarian to study with UZ 1st Zimbabwean Priest to study canon law 1st African Priest to be assigned to Mashava Parish In 1989 he was the Rector of Chikwingwizha Minor Seminary and Vicar General to Sekuru F. Mugadza In 1991 he was moved to the Bishop‘s House as Vicar of the Diocese On 19 September he was ordained Bishop of Gokwe Diocese In 1999 he was appointed Bishop of Masvingo Diocese Sekuru is the only Catholic Bishop in Zimbabwe to administer 3 different dioceses Sekuru‘s motto is; “Kuda kwenyu ngakuitwe” ◆ ◆ ◆ ◆ ◆ ◆
