United we stand, divided we fall

-

I WOULD like to start by saying Happy New Year to every Zimbabwean.

As we kick off 2019, I just want to urge everyone to have a positive mind so that we all start channelling our energy towards the betterment of the country.

The toxic “Kudira Jecha” phenomenon that had gripped some of us in 2018 should become a thing of the past.

There is nothing that can be gained by sabotaging the economy or any of the Government policies that are meant to improve the economy.

If we work together, 2019 will definitely be the year that we come out of the economic hardships we are currently facing.

There are some ignorant individuals who are always trying to blame Government for the situation but if we dig deeper, it is clear for all to see that President Mnangagwa and his team are doing everything they can to make sure that things get better.

We would all want to see a prosperous Zimbabwe.

In this time of uncertainty we do not only need to pray and hope for the best, but should also put our trust in the leadership and give them all the support we can.

I am sure even some investors and international lending institutions would be more willing to lend a helping hand to a nation that is fighting for the same cause in unison.

We must all say no to saboteurs and yes to development. Let is all try to be positive for once. Mudzimu Mukuru, Harare.
