We are with you Cde President

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa this past week was in Eurasia in a drive to attract foreign direct investment in key economic sectors.

He has already managed to seal numerous lucrative deals that will go a long way in giving our economy a much needed boost.

While he was in Belarus, he stated that his Government was determined to improve the quality and living standards of Zimbabweans.

It is clear that the President has his people at heart and I am positive that he will achieve his goal of rebuilding the economy.

From what I have been reading in the news this past week, the Presidential trip will certainly bring positive results.

Ever since he took the top job in 2017, his re-engagement and engagement policies are a clear sign that he intends to attack the country’s economic woes from the local front as well as beyond our borders.

There are ignorant people who have been criticising the President’s trip, with some even highlighting that it was a waste of State resources.

I wonder how they expect him to sit in his office and at the same time convince the international community that they should come and invest in the country. His going there is a major move as it shows how serious he is about partnering other countries. We are with you Cde President. Only retrogressive forces cannot see what you are building for them.
