Truth shall always prevail

- L. Makombe.

I READ with interest an article in the last publication of The Sunday Mail titled: “Are the West suckers for cheap propaganda?”

The truth of the matter is that all liars will be judged accordingly.

Someone told me that the area where the MDC-Alliance women trio was located happens to be the home area for one of them.

These youngsters are being used for silly and evil objectives and time will tell.

We have an opposition party that accuses the Government of abusing the rights of its citizens, but what about the abuse of citizens when one calls for the imposition of sanctions.

We also had the so-called men of God issuing a statement condemning the Government and yet investigations were still ongoing. When the Church openly becomes partisan and is very silent and blind to the issue of sanctions, you begin to wonder whether they are eating from the same plate with the opposition.

Zimbabweans need to be united against the evil that is being planned for the nation.

The leader of the MDC-A happens to be a pastor and I wonder what he discusses with other pastors when they meet.

The Church and clergy must not bear false witnesses, but stand for the truth.

Let us not rely on statements by so-called victims without verification of the facts.

The Government must also quickly finalise this episode and issue a public statement on what happened.

Those responsible for spreading lies must face the law, period.
