@Rubi51156581 on “Action on financial rot overdue” — RBZ lacks implementation strategies and allows things to get out of hand. It is reactive rather that proactive.

@ndoro_sean on “Action on financial rot overdue” — Good article.

Takawira Mupoperi on “All-out war on black market . . . New measures for mobile money operators” — The situation where financial institutions buy foreign currency and hardly sell it on the open market makes the trend flourish. We should realise that most products in the country are imported. There is need to have an official source of foreign currency that is accessible to all, at real market exchange rates. In the absence of such, the black market rules. Closing all individual accounts will not bring any joy.

Fungayi Magwenzi “Security beefed up at isolation centres” — Erect high security fences as a matter of urgency. ***

Terrence Mwedzi on “Radio lessons launched” — This is a giant step in the right direction. Radio lessons are important. Education is vital.

Fortune Zihura on “Radio lessons launched” — That is a brilliant idea.

Mura Costa Tarabuku on “All-out war on black market . . . New measures for mobile money operators” — Even $20 000 is a lot of money under the present situation. Is it justifiable to have every Tom, Dick and Harry making a money transfer of $20 000 while sitting under a tree along a street or in some high-density suburb? The problem in this country is that everyone is a de facto bureau de change. We are all trading in money, not in goods and services. As I grew up, anyone depositing unusual huge sums of money in a bank was subject to questioning by the bank manager.
